League Standards The League of Women Voters has traditions or certain standards. Briefly, they are: High regard for thorough and impartial facts in any situation as the basis for analysis and criticism. Takes a stand only on issues and never on candidates or personalities. Where lobbying or pressure group activity is necessary, the League acts only in the interest of the public good and never in the interest of a special group . . . Constant concern for democratic process within the organization.
