Leaguers Celebrate Completion of HandbookThe completion of the handbook, "In Honolulu Hale We Elect," was celebrated by the Provisional League of Women Voters at a meeting held on September 13 at the Y.W,C.A. Decorations, refreshments, and a special guest speaker, Mrs. Paul Brissenden, helped to make the evening a very interesting and pleasant one. Mrs. Brissenden, an active Leaguer from New York, gave an account of the work of the League in New York and concluded her talk by complimenting our League on the completion of its first handbook. She is the wife of Dr. Brissenden, who is a visiting professor at the University of Hawaii. City and county officials and others who had helped with the work on the handbook were invited. At the con¬clusion of the meeting, the handbooks were "put on the market."
