Help Needed for Second Part of Local Project Mrs. Thomas Shootman, Chairman of the local study project on our city and county government, has issued this statement to Leaguers: Now that you have the first part of the study, please let us have any suggestions you may have for the second part. Should we have more charts? Cuts to break the space between department studies? Any ideas will be welcome. The second part will cover twenty departments and commissions. Most of the research has been done. Our biggest need is four or five members who would like to sit on the Editorial Baard! There will be a great deal of work for this board to do, but it will be very interesting and rewarding work. Would you like a clearer understanding of the functions that the departments under appointed officials perform? Do you like to write? Are you interested in financial breakdowns? Can you make charts? Then there is a spot for you in the next publication. Leaguers, please call up Mrs. Shootman, 576584, and offer your kokua.
