Governor to Hold Public Hearings on Rail The Honolulu League has sent a letter to the Governor applauding her decision to hold public hearings on the Honolulu rail final environmental impact statement (FEIS). We suggested that at least two public hearings be held: one in the downtown area and the other in the Ewa area. Also, we suggested that the public hearings be held two or three weeks after the Final EIS has been released to the public to allow for time to study the City's FEIS and to testify on it.
