New Record Set at Teamsters Vote Count
Kudos to the 25 fantastic Leaguers who set a new vote count record by preparing and mailing out over 5,400 Hawaii Teamsters ballots within 4 and a half hours on September 24. Over 50% of the ballots were returned and were counted on October 24 within 4 hours. (We counted so efficiently that we finished before the union could order lunches for the Leaguers.) The Teamsters election was the last vote count for the fiscal year. The electrical union was the first followed by SHOPO (the police union) questionnaire. We are ending our year on 3/31/10 with black ink. Thanks to all of you who participated in our principal fundraising activity. Be ready for the next phone call and vote count. Arlene Ellis |
