Waimanalo LandfillIn December the City Department of Environmental Services notified the League via Certified Mail that it has submitted a petition to change the classification of the Waimanalo Gulch Landfill from agricultural to urban use. A hearing will be scheduled at a future date. Those wishing to testify may call the state Land Use Commission office at 587-3822.
