ConCon Forum Will Air on Channel 49As part of its effort to educate voters on the issues involved with deciding to have a Constitutional Convention, the League of Women Voters of Hawaii will present four forums which will air on `01elo Channel 49. The first three forums discuss the risks, challenges and opportunities offered by a ConCon: Native Hawaiian Affairs with Gov. John Waihee, Colin Kippen, Jon Osorio; Moderator: Leimomi Khan — broadcast on: 9/1 - 8pm , 9/2 — 8 am, 9/3 — 2 pm, 9/6 — 8 pm Education with Nina Buchanan, Maggie Cox, Roger Takabayashi, Dan White; Moderator: Richard Borreca — broadcast on: 9/2 — 8 pm, 9/3 — 8 am, 9/6 — 2 pm, 9/7 — 8 pm Environment, Land Use, Water with Kehaulani Watson, Jon Van Dyke, Henry Curtis; Moderator: Lea Hong — broadcast on: — 9/2 —2pm, 9/3 — 8 pm, 9/4 — 8 am, 9/5 — 2 pm After the Vote with William Paty, Gov. John Waihee, Jim Shon, Richard Borreca; Moderator: Jerry Burris. Delegates and media veterans of the '78 ConCon discuss their recollections as well as the issues which will probably be introduced in a 2010 ConCon.
