Volunteers Needed for Vote CountThis is a reminder for the vote count we will conduct for the electricians’ union:
To volunteer, call the office at 531-7448 and tell us which job or jobs and the times you can commit to. Other information we need is whether you can provide transportation for others or if you will need transportation. Each volunteer will be mailed a job description and a map of the worksite.
The stipend we will be paid for this service will allow us to advance the policies of the League of Women Voters of Honolulu and help to offset the expenses of maintaining our offices. We received $3,000 from the Neighborhood Board Commission for our vote count of the Nanakuli/Maili special election.
So get out your calendars, mark the dates and times you will be available, and call the office (531-7448) to volunteer as soon as possible so that we can coordinate the work. Arlene Ellis |
