Register High SchoolersAt the April 14 meeting, Honolulu Leaguers expressed enthusiasm for registering high school students to vote. Member Marian Miller explained that 16-year-olds are allowed to register but will only be allowed to vote after reaching age 18. The Elections Office will send voter cards to registered youngsters when they reach age 18. Many at the meeting expressed readiness to join in the effort to register high school students.
