President's Message

Honolulu League’s Annual Meeting will be on Saturday, April 14 at the Hale Koa Hotel. The purpose of this gathering is to:

  1. Adopt a local program for the ensuing year.

  2. Elect officers, directors, and members of the nominating committee.

  3. Adopt a budget.

We will accomplish each of the items when we meet. Much of the discussion on programs will be a continuation of the conversations we had at our December planning meeting. Member participation was energetic, supportive of League and thoughtful. The depth of recommendations and proposals indicate we should continue to draw on that energy.

We will be looking especially into activities central to Honolulu government with a post-lunch speaker addressing a topic important to all of us.

We need your ideas, proposals and plans for implementation, and we need your participation. League can succeed only with the effort of its members. Sign up early. The cost for morning pastries, a tasty Hale Koa lunch, and fine collaboration is $25.
