Voter Registration
The Primary Election will be held on Saturday, September 23, and the General Election, on Tuesday, November 7. The last day to register to vote in the Primary is Thursday, August 24 and Monday, October 9, for the General Election.

With these key dates in mind, 16 locations throughout Oahu have been identified for possible locations at which League will set-up registration tables and provide certified registrars. Any Leaguer interested in participating in these events is urged to call the League office between 10 a.m. to noon any weekday and let us know the dates you are available and how we can contact you.

Olelo – “Candidates in Focus”
Olelo is offering to all candidates for public office, 5 minutes on TV, plus 15 minutes for preparation, and 30 minutes for practice in a mini studio, with the use of a teleprompter. League has offered to assist Olelo in this project by participating in contacting candidates by phone or e-mail, scheduling taping dates and assisting with preparation and/or practice when requested.

Some time will need to be spent by volunteers for training, if needed.

Focus 49 – Olelo’s Election Central
From August 1 to November 7 Channel 49 will be dedicated to election programming. League may take advantage of this time to present pro/cons on City Charter amendment proposals and/or State Constitutional amendment proposals.
