Membership Meeting on April 8Speaking at the membership meeting at the Hale Koa Hotel will be an articulate and knowledgeable foe of Honolulus proposed rail transit system. Professor Panos Prevedouros is an internationally known expert on transportation who teaches at UH Manoas department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. A citizen of both America and Greece, Dr. Prevedouros has written numerous articles on transportation problems in both countries. League members will elect new officers. Nominated for President is Piilani Kaopuiki, Sue Miller for Vice President, Robin Loomis for Secretary, and for nominating committee: JoAnn Maruoka, Lisa Carter, Beth Ann Kozlovich. Voter Service activities for the upcoming elections will be discussed, as well as League actions of the past year. Cost for the game hen lunch is $20. Deadline is Friday, March 31.
