Voter Service Committee in Action

During the month of August 2004, Honolulu League conducted 8 voter registration sessions at the Blaisdell Center and the Waikiki Shell. Volunteers at these events were:

Laura Thompson

On August 14, Ursula Retherford, Arlene Ellis and Mitzi Benison registered voters at Pohai Nani. Malia Schwartz went to Schofield Barracks on August 28 to register voters.

Another League activity is helping voters to vote by absentee ballot. Jean Aoki went to Hale Malamalama nursing home on September 2 and assisted 7 residents.
