DECEMBER MEETING SPEAKERS
Our December 13 planning meeting will feature two experts on transportation. Cliff Slater, who writes regularly in the Honolulu Advertiser. He headed the Committee on Sensible Transit (COST!) when rail transit was defeated in 1992. Kenneth Toru Hamayasu is the project manager for the Bus Rapid Transit program of the City Department of Transportation Services. After specializing in travel forecasting with a private firm in Virginia, he came to Hawaii in the early 1970's. |
