Honolulu League's Annual Membership Meeting SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 2002 PLACE: Hale Koa Hotel, Laulima Rooms TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. SPEAKER: Michael Chun, President, Kamehameha Schools TOPIC: Educating Hawaiian Children LUNCHEON: Soup, salad, and sandwich buffet $16 Parking $2 w/validation stamp Last year we heard Colbert Matsumoto tell us what went wrong with Bishop Estate. This year Michael Chun, President of Kamehameha Schools, will tell us the good things going on at the schools. We've been reading of efforts to extend education to all Hawaiians, such as supporting preschools and charter schools. Dr. Chun will give us the authoritative account of these efforts. At this meeting we will elect officers and directors as well as adopt program and a budget. I hope you plan to come. Pearl Johnson
