Important: Local Five Vote Count - Call for All Available MembersThe current Local Five election is being held under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Labor. This election is one of the major fund raising events from which the League earns enough money to pay the over-head and conduct the work of the League. First Call is in the League office and we will need one person each day from February 15 to March 15 to staff the office from 10 am to 4 pm week days. We will make the inspection of the Local 5 Roster open to all candidates. Second Call is in the League office and we will need two, people daily from March 21 to March 31, 10 am to 4 pm weekdays. We will take phone requests from Local 5 members for second ballots. We then prepare a packet and mail it. Third Call will be at the Local 5 offices at 1701 Ala Wai Blvd. on April 4 Tuesday from 7 am until 5:30 pm We will need 12 people. Last Call will be at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce at 2454 Beretania Street, top floor (free parking) We need 30 to 40 people on April 6 Thursday from 9 am until we are finished.
